If you have been second guessing your training, feeling unsure about race strategy, or struggling to make clear decisions, your third eye chakra may need attention.
The third eye chakra sits between your eyebrows and represents intuition, insight, and the ability to see things clearly. For runners, a balanced third eye chakra means trusting your inner guidance in training and racing. When it is out of balance you may feel confused, overthink workouts, or ignore your own body’s signals.
When the third eye is aligned you trust your plan and your instincts. You can sense when to push and when to rest without constant second guessing.
Mantra: I trust my inner wisdom. I see my path clearly.
Why Clarity Matters for Runners
A strong inner vision keeps you from chasing every new trend or doubting your own experience. You make choices that match your goals instead of reacting to comparison or fear.
Two key words here I really want you to notice: match and react.
Do you try to blend in and match the collectives goals or do you forge your own path to match YOUR goals?
Tangible Training Practices for a Balanced Third Eye Chakra
1. Race visualization
Spend five minutes before bed imagining yourself running strong, confident, and calm on race day. OR try a deeper meditation like this 20 minute hypnosis.
2. Effort-based running
Do one run this week guided only by your breath and perceived effort, not your watch.
3. Reflective training log
Write one insight after every run, focusing on what your body taught you. Grab a pen and paper journal and reflect for just a few minutes.
4. Limit outside noise
Take a short break from comparing your training to others on social media.
Mind and Body Integration
A clear third eye chakra gives you the confidence to follow your own path. You begin to notice you are less reactive and more intentional about your runs and your rest.
Your Action Step for the Week
Pick one run to run entirely by feel, then write down what you learned from trusting yourself.
